Today the 2nd pour of Level 5 was carried out, along with the first jump of the screens.
Tonight subject to the weather they also install the internal Meva hoist inside the building. This is a massive three storey mechanical lift that they use to lift platforms up from the floors below to the new decks.
In the photos you can clearly see the benefits of post tensioned slabs. The PT cables are in the silver ducts and are tensioned four days after the slab has been poured.
The castins that support the facade are clearly visble around the perimeter of the slab edge.
